James founded Castfirm to provide an integrated approach to wealth management, combining fiduciary investment management, financial planning, and sophisticated legal advisory services. As a practicing attorney, James offers comprehensive estate planning solutions, including drafting wills, trusts, and estate documents, while also handling commercial and residential real estate transactions. His goal in establishing Castfirm was to deliver personalized, client-focused advice that addresses the complex needs of families and individuals at all levels of wealth.

Prior to founding Castfirm, James spent over two decades in fiduciary services and investment management. He began his career as an attorney, specializing in estate planning and transactional law, before transitioning to Wall Street. During his past tenures as a Managing Director in Private Banking at JPMorgan Chase, Citibank, and U.S. Trust, he advised a diverse set of clients on fiduciary portfolio management and legacy planning.
Over the course of his career, James has developed an expertise in overseeing the implementation of trusts, foundations, and estates, developing a unique perspective on strategic wealth and family legacy planning. Inspired by the decline in client service at large financial institutions following the Great Financial Crisis of 2008, James envisioned Castfirm as a firm built on a foundation of exceptional service and tailored solutions.
